Vineyard

Produced on the vine with a tree population density of 6.000 vinestocks/hectare, yield 6t/hectare, low-lying hilly position, sandy earth, semi-arid climate.

Vini cation

Red, with a maceration of 12 days at a temperature
of 28 °C. Partially re ned in oak barrels for 6 months then further re nement in the bottle for at least 3 months.

Colour

Intense ruby red, with a tendency towards garnet, the longer the re nement period.

Aroma

Intensely winey and persistently ethereal with warm notes of vanilla and typical Mediterranean maquis aromas.

Taste

Dry, amply sapid yet harmoniously intense with a persistent, solid structure.

Serving Suggestions

Roast or braised red meat, wild game, mature cheeses.

Ageing

This wine can withstand long periods of re nement in the bottle at cool temperatures, away from sunlight.

Serving Temperature

We suggest removing the cork at least 30 minutes before tasting.
